Have sum family members who r split politicaly. NGL its hard sometimes to get together unless we stear clear from sum touchy subjects. We forget, esp w ppl who r not in our family, that we all have common ground. I try to find stuff I like or and like in everyone I meet. When u look for similarities instead of counting differences, ul see theres a lot

Mind Wandering: Where Do We Go? And What Does It Mean? in the forum Core Principles of Netism 1 day, 22 hours ago
Frequent mind wanderer here.
I go all over the place.
Sometimes it helps.
Sometimes it hurts.
I know I need to direct it more.
Consciousness, untethered,
is wild and unpredictable.

Learned about it from kung fu movies but got more serious about it later when I looked into Chinese philosophy. Now when I say, “that’s not the way,” I’m actually being serious but people still think I’m being cheesy.

Mind Wandering: Where Do We Go? And What Does It Mean? in the forum Core Principles of Netism 1 day, 23 hours ago
Studies show that the mind can operate two or three systems at once but it becomes poorer at each one. That means we aren’t thinking or driving effectively. Not saying I’m perfect, but it’s something to think about while driving.

Stephan A. Schwartz’s 2060 in the forum Ancient Cataclysms & Human Cycles 1 day, 23 hours ago
I really like the way this guy collects his data. I really dislike what it’s saying I’m going to have to live through but I will say that if the results provide a more conscious society that has respect for each other and the Earth. It’s actually a good thing in the end. A little dissapointed that we don’t get to witness AI robots fight off an…[Read more]

What was the function of Egyptian “false doors”? in the forum Ancient Technology and Temple Design 3 days, 2 hours ago
Nearly every ancient culture has a scrying method. I think it is funny that people think this is something bad… meanwhile they are locked into a device with a black screen all day… they even get into arguments with it XD

What if we are misinterpreting ancient myth, taking them too literally? If we can accept that human civilization started much earlier, with the emergence of Ancient Egypt, as the emergence of a new cycle, then the door becomes open to look at ancient stories with fresh perspectives. Perhaps ancient people, long before the rise of dynastic Egypt,…[Read more]

When I was young we didnt have subscribers but we had other measures of success it was different though. This instant gratification stuff with notifications seems great but it puts focus in the wrong places who cares if 10,000 people like a post I’d rather make a real difference to one person.

Stephan A. Schwartz is a researcher-author known for long-horizon “consensus remote viewing” projects and trend analysis. Beginning in 1978, he asked thousands of participants to “visit” a specific future date and describe everyday life, then extracted only the overlapping details across many independent accounts. For 2060 he also ran a paralle…[Read more]
